November 2025 Employee of the Month

We honor Brenda Perkins, Administrative Assistant in Curriculum & Instruction, as the Employee of the Month for November 2025.

Brenda is the heart of the Curriculum & Instruction administration team. Since becoming their Administrative Assistant in March 2024, she has created a culture of inclusivity and teamwork. Even though the team is spread across four floors, she makes sure no one feels left out and is always there when they need her.

Brenda lives the FCSS norms every day. She shows accountability by helping the team build an accountability tracker with the right tools to keep everything on track from start to finish. Brenda demonstrates respect and listens with intention by noticing when the team needs extra support and bringing people into their monthly meetings to help them grow. She creates transparency by keeping them informed and making sure processes are clear. She pursues growth by streamlining their work and finding ways to make their jobs easier. She celebrates and encourages others by showing gratitude whenever a teammate steps in to help.

At events, Brenda is always the first one to jump in, whether behind the scenes or front and center, making sure things run smoothly. She is a calming, supportive leader who always helps the team find solutions.
