Superintendent's Superstar October 2025

Julian, an 8th grader at Pacific Union Elementary, is a hardworking student and athlete who demonstrates kindness, reliability and a willingness to help both his peers and teachers. He never hesitates when asked to assist and is often the first to volunteer. His everyday character of "doing the right thing, even no one is looking," helps contribute to a positive learning environment for all. His integrity and excellent attitude make his not only a role model among his classmates, but a valued member of the school community. 
 

Julian's dedication is evident through his academic performance and athletic achievements. He constantly puts forth his best effort in the classroom, asking for support when needed and helping others. Beyond school hours, his work ethic continues to shine. After completing his practices and games for his Pacific Union teams, Julian immediately travels to Hanford for additional two-hour soccer practices multiple times a week. Despite his demanding schedule, which often has him sitting down to a family dinner table late in the evening after practice is done, he remains committed to completing his schoolwork on time. In addition, Julian participates in weekend soccer tournaments and is also giving of his time to be an active participant in a quinceañera. He balances all responsibilities with maturity and perseverance. 

Remarkably, Julian manages this rigorous schedule without complaint. He approaches each responsibility with determination and an understanding of what it takes to be successful. His resilience, discipline and positive outlook ensure that he will continue to achieve remarkable things in the future. Without a doubt, Julian has the potential to succeed in any path he chooses.
