Teens That Care

In the annual tradition of Teens That Care, high school students, led by president Jenny Ganson, gathered in Jenny's kitchen to bake 40 homemade pumpkin pies for senior residents at Midland Manor in Mendota. The organization, founded five years ago, emphasizes face-to-face experiences with the community, exemplified by their Thanksgiving week volunteering at the Fresno Rescue Mission's "One Table Event," where they sorted 3,000 coats to be distributed to families in need. The group's mission goes beyond resume-building, focusing on instilling a love for volunteering and community service in young adults.
