Schools Celebrate MLK

Schools celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with educational activities, including second graders watching a video about the civil rights leader at Martin Luther King Elementary. Teachers emphasize the importance of understanding King's legacy and the fight for equal rights. Fresno County schools also organize art and essay contests, a dance group performance, and a garlanding ceremony at Courthouse Park, involving students from various schools to commemorate Dr. King's dream of a more just society.
