Parental involvement is a commitment to instill the habits of learning and collaboration. When parents partner with schools, teachers, and the community, their children succeed academically.
Philosophy
In order for students to succeed and compete globally, we must form a partnership with parents, teachers and the community. When parents get involved in their children's education, children:
- Demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors
- Attend school more regularly
- Complete homework on time
- Earn higher grades
Facilities & Operations
The Facilities & Operations department provides maintenance and operational support, planning, site acquisition and construction, and insurance and risk management services for all Fresno County Superintendent of Schools sites. Our Mission is to ensure that FCSS’ students and staff are provided with first-class facilities that are clean, safe and functional. Our department believes that facilities should support student learning and the efficiency of all departments.
