2019 All Staff Day celebrates a ‘Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood!'

The Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools’ staff celebrated its annual All Staff Day at the William Saroyan Theatre on Friday, Aug. 16 with the theme, "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood!" This special afternoon was the kick-off to the new school year, inspiring staff to strive every day to positively make a difference in the lives of Fresno County children and families.

The Mister Roger's Neighborhood theme included visits from "neighbors" in the community, sharing why the Central Valley is special to them. Thank you to our guests: Mark Standriff, City of Fresno; Police Chief Jerry Dyer; Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp; Rich Rodriguez, KMPH Fox 26; Dr. Carole Goldsmith, Fresno City College; Joel Abels, StageWorks Fresno; Todd Suntrapak, Valley Children's Hospital; Emilia Reyes, First 5 Fresno County; and Bob Nelson, Fresno Unified School District.
