Message from the Superintendent

As Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, my world of work encompasses 32 school districts, more than 20,000 staff and faculty and almost 200,000 students residing in Fresno County. I started my career in education working with at-risk youth who were just outside the mainstream looking in. From intervention to teaching, coaching and eventually administration, I will always remember the words of students who have set my course, thanking me for encouraging and believing in them when their circumstances weren’t easy.
