Adult Transition Program Graduation Honors 64 Graduates

On Friday evening, May 27, 2011, The Fresno County Office of Education will honor the 64 graduates of the FCOE Adult Transition Programs class of 2011. The graduation ceremony will be held at the Golden Palace Event Center and will begin at 7:00 pm. Educational staff members, family, friends, and community partners are invited to attend.

Student speakers will address their fellow classmates and attending guests and share highlights from their experiences as students in the Adult Transition Program. Their speeches are self-written and focus on the positive influences friends, family, school, and work experiences have had on their lives. Other highlights will include a video tribute showing the graduates involved in a variety of vocational, social and recreational activities and various musical tributes by staff.

As each student moves across the stage to receive their certificate, they are applauded for their personal successes and greeted by FCOE board members and administrative staff. As the audience recognizes their transition from the public school system, each graduate is filled with pride, honor and hope.
