Then get your team together and out to our *Challenge Course at Scout Island. Watch how fast your team comes alive as they jump on board the Whale Watch platform, walk the A-Frame or balance 30ft above ground on the catwalk and zip down the zip line. See your team regain focus and trust and build some great memories.
We offer:
- Half-day at $20/person and Full-day at $40/person sessions
- Simple low elements to more challenging high elements
- Trained facilitators to assist your team(s) with their specific goals

Team Adventure Challenge
We call it TAC as in tactical. This ain’t your Baby-Boomer-team-building session. This is less talk and way more action! Get your staff and/or organization out of the office and going for a day of:
- fun and inspiration;
- communicating and problem solving; and
- discovering each other’s strengths and talents.
Challenge your staff to hit the ground running, push their limits, take no prisoners and leave no one behind. Your team may need helmets, or canoes. They may scale a rock wall, climb ropes and fly down a zip line. No worries, we have what you need. But wait, there’s more!
Teams get set up to navigate through a GPS-based adventure course to unknown landscapes and hidden destinations where challenges await that only a team working as a unit can solve. At the end of the challenge, our trained facilitators coordinate a reflection of the day’s activities and discussion of new insights gained.
The needs, abilities, length of training and size of your group determine the design of the course and pricing. Pricing starts at $1000 for groups up to 20. For more information please contact:

Adult Scout Island Adventure Race
- More daring than our Challenge Course
- Yet not quite the breath-taker of our TAC
- But still very much a team experience
This race is limited to 40 teams of 4 grown-ups each, who are up for:
- navigating our 2-3 mile course in and around the San Joaquin River;
- solving 10 different challenges; and
- crossing the finish line in time to place either 1st, 2nd or 3rd (or just crossing).
Your 4-person team’s $100 entry fee (or $25 each person) gets:
- each team member an official race t-shirt;
- a great lunch;
- a lot of great memories; and
- helps fund the high school Scout Island Adventure Challenge Race. Thank you!
