The Fresno County Office of Education Credentials Department is dedicated to serving the thirty-two public school districts, local charter and private schools, educators and other individuals within our county requiring assistance pertaining to all credentials, certificates and permits issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Our purpose is to ensure all teachers, service providers and administrators are appropriately certified and assigned in compliance with both state and federal mandates. The Credentials Department also provides training and support at the local, regional and state level in collaboration with school districts, Institutes of Higher Education and the CTC. As a result, school districts are assured highly qualified, properly credentialed teachers and administrators serving students throughout Fresno County.
