- Under the Military Selective Service Act, all young men
(citizens and non-citizens) between ages 18 through 25 are required
to register with Selective Service.
- Failure to register is a felony and subjects the offender to
potential serious penalties and the the loss of significant
benefits such as: federal and many state and local jobs, student
financial aid, federal job training programs, eligibility for US
Citizenship, etc.
- Registration can be accomplished at any US Post Office or on
the internet at www.sss.gov. You can also verify registration on the
SSS Homepage.
